How Much Traffic Can You Get by Doing Interviews?

Online and offline businesses need Traffic. Lot’s and Lot’s of TRAFFIC! TV, Radio, and Podcast interviews are FANTASTIC source for traffic, FREE Traffic!

For starters, there are two benefits to getting on PODCAST and RADIO interviews.

1. You can get a ton of traffic coming in from the interview itself. The traffic is usually targeted and if you have a product this audience “WANTS” they are ready to buy. Since you’ve already demonstrated yourself as an expert on the interview, this give you the credibility you need so they trust you.

2. The second benefit is that you become more and more known in your industry as an expert. You’ll get more joint venture offers, more people one-way linking to your website and more people referring friends to you as a resource. The amount of traffic you could get really depends on how many listeners your interviewer has. It’s entirely possible for you to get over 10,000 to 100,000 visitors from one interview if you’re interviewed by someone well known. It’s also possible that you’ll have to do a bunch of smaller interviews that only net you a few hundred visitors, especially when you’re just starting out.

I can tell you this…When I was interviewed  on TV by Joy Behar on CNN and ABC’s Morning Blend my cell phone lit up like a ping ball machine!

In any case, interviews are a GREAT way to get traffic. Start small and get your feet wet and when you feel comfortable swing for the fences!

FOCUS Your Article Marketing

 Article Marketing is a Basic Yet Powerful Way to Drive FREE Traffic To Your Website.

If you are consistent with adding your content to article directories like ezinearticle.com, you will build a following. The more people use your content, the more FREE traffic and business you will get!

With That In Mind…
There are two key points to article marketing that are often overlooked…
1.Your Resource Box – it’s amazing how many experienced marketers dash off a resource box almost as an afterthought. As with identifying your target customer, writing a STRONG RESOURCE BOX should take up a significant portion of your time. You may consider offering a “FREE Gift” of some sort in your resource box as an incentive for people to click on your resource box link.

2.Don’t Use Your Actual Niche Keyword… When you are writing an article for a directory site such as ezinearticles.com, use strong keywords RELATED to your niche, but not your actual niche primary keyword phrase. (If you use the latter, you’ll be competing with your own website or blog.)

Try to use a keyword that has at least 360 searches per month, but less than 40,000 competition in Google with quotations.

3 Ways To Use Your Iphone For Business

If I Lost my iphone right now I‘d be steaming!

 Technology is changing and moving at such a high rate of speed at times I get overwhelmed with all the latest gadgets. When cells phones were just starting to get hot, I waited.  Then I finally got a plain basic cell phone. No bells or whistles. Then texting became the rage. My friends were hounding me to get texting…

Dude, you gotta get text messaging! I waited. Then my friend Doug Taylor got the iphone. He calls me up ranting and raving about this iphone.

I waited, and waited and waited…
 Until one night about 6 months ago, Doug calls and tells me his iphone saved gig that night.  It turns out he was doing sound and lights for some band on the strip and the bands sound and light equipment malfunctioned.

He just happened to download the bands backing music tracks  and light arrangment on his iphone the day before! Just as a backup! Turns out it saved the day.

I purchased a iphone the next day.

I use my iphone for so many things now it blows my mind! Here are just 3 things I use my iphone on a regular basis.

1. Photos – You can take photos and email them instantly!
2. Video - You can capture an event or interview someone instantly!
3. Notes – With this application I can take notes any time and then email those notes instantly!

Here are some things I do with my iphone:
 Photos – #1
When I go to a seminar or some sort of networking event I tend to meet a lot of people. I also tend to forget a lot of the people I had met… until I got my iphone. Now what I do is ask the person I am talking to to hold their business card up next to their cheek so I will remember them.

Photos – #2
The cool thing about this photo application is, immediately after taking a photo you can email the photo anywhere in the world instantly! Wouldn’t it be cool if you are walking thru an airport and you bump into someone you always wanted to meet, then got a photo with them and then send it to all your friends. You bet!

Video – #3
The second day I had my iphone, I am walking out of church with Vickie and we see a car fire and I wipped out my iphone, started video tapping the fire. I then posted it to one of my other  sites, www.LasVegasNewsBlog.com from my iphone in seconds! I beat the local news and got huge spike in traffic.
But lets talk about the ipone today…

Check out the video below…I was at the M Hotel in Las Vegas and in the hallway I bumped into the most famous motivational speaker in the world, Les Brown!

Is this the best video in the video? Heck no, but I got Les Brown on video!

Does Your Affiliate Marketing Tool Center Bite?

Recently I signed up for a few internet marketing affiliate programs of some very high profile internet marketers. I wanted to go through and experience their process. I was blown away at some of the down right crap I saw and experienced.

I’m not talking newbie marketers, I’m talking guru marketers…Marketers that you know, love and read about everyday!

Yes, some of them make big money on the big JV launches. However, I guarantee none of those JV partners went through the affiliate center signup process and got the promo tools on there own. They have a JV manager send them a pre-written email with their affiliate link already embeded in the message. That’s a good thing…

But…You may be thinking, if they make a million dollars on a launch who cares? No doubt a major launch with significant JV partners can generate fantastic profits. It’s a one time event. This is short term thinking…

The purpose of a well thought out affiliate program can and should be to generate a consistent flow of traffic and sales month after month. Think about it…Affiliates send you FREE traffic! It doesn’t get better than that. Plus, you only pay your affiliates when they generate a sale!

Free Traffic With Articles

There are numerious ways to get FREE Traffic with articles. This is also reffered
to as Article Marketing. Before we get into any specifics on Article Marketing
let’s clarify and define a few things first.

1. What is Online Article Marketing?
In it’s basic form, you write an article and submit that article to the various
online content publishers which can and may include article directories,
blogs, forums etc…

Article Marketing is an already proven way to drive FREE traffic to your
website. The amount of traffic will be in direct proportion to the market or
niche of your business. If this is a popular niche, then you have a good
chance of getting some good Free Traffic.

2. How Does Article Marketing Work?
At the bottom of every article you write is your Signature File. The more
 publishers that use your content on there website, the better the
chances of visitors reading thru to the bottom to see who wrote the article.
When people put your articles on there website, that’s called syndication.

Inside your Signature File is either a email or website link. It is the people
reading your articles that will be clicking on your links in your Signature File.
This is one of the ways that you will get FREE Traffic to your website.

Marketing You Can Use is what this site is all about.  You
have so many marketing options available to you. Which marketing
options are appropriate and profitable for you?  “Marketing You Can Use”
is all about what is best for you and your  business.  

Business owners always ask me, how can I get some FREE traffic
to my website? There are many ways to get  FREE traffic to your
website. The very first thing I recommend to all my clients who want
FREE Traffic to there website is, to create a signature file. 

What is a Signature File?
A signature file is pre-written text that you add to the end of your e-mail
message. It usually contains your contact infomation.

This can include:
Name
Address
Phone
Website
Email
Brief Message

If you use Eudora for your email client, you can create multiple
signature files and thus can choose which Signature file to use on
every email you send out.

Next time you read the newspaper or a magazine, at the end of each
article is usually a signature file of some sort. Sometines its just a
name and email address, while others signature files are more detailed.

If you haven’t created your own signature file yet, go do that right now!
